Important Notice
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Afrinsure platform. Please read them carefully. Afrinsure is a digital insurance distribution platform, not an insurer. All insurance products are provided by duly licensed partners.
By accessing or using the Afrinsure platform (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Afrinsure, a product of Nettulztech Corp., operating from Nairobi, Kenya.
Afrinsure is a digital insurance distribution platform that operates as an intermediary facilitating the discovery, education, and distribution of insurance products. Afrinsure is NOT an insurance company and does not underwrite, bind, or issue insurance policies. All insurance products available through the Platform are underwritten and issued by duly licensed insurance partners operating within their respective jurisdictions in Africa. Afrinsure facilitates connections between end users, brokers, intermediaries, wholesalers, and insurers.
The Platform includes an AI-powered advisor that provides information, education, and navigation assistance. The AI advisor does not underwrite, approve, bind, or issue insurance coverage. It cannot guarantee acceptance, premiums, claims outcomes, or policy issuance. AI-generated information may contain errors and should not be relied upon as official insurance advice. Always consult a licensed insurance intermediary for advice tailored to your circumstances.
Quotes provided through the Platform are estimates unless explicitly confirmed by a licensed insurance partner. Premiums, coverage limits, exclusions, and terms are determined by the applicable insurer and are subject to the official policy wording. The issuance of a policy is contingent upon successful completion of the applicable insurer's underwriting process and payment of the required premium. Afrinsure does not guarantee that any application will result in the issuance of a policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
As part of the insurance application process, you may be required to provide Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation including identification, address verification, and other supporting documents. This information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the requirements of our licensed insurance partners and applicable regulatory authorities. You consent to the collection, processing, and sharing of your KYC information with authorised partners for the purpose of facilitating insurance services.
Afrinsure facilitates the submission of insurance claims to the applicable licensed insurer or claims administrator. Afrinsure does not determine claim outcomes. All claim decisions are made by the applicable insurer in accordance with the policy terms and conditions. For claim-related enquiries, you should contact the relevant insurer or broker identified in your policy document.
The Platform integrates with third-party service providers including licensed insurance partners, Lami Technologies (infrastructure provider), payment processors, and other service providers. Afrinsure is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers. Your use of third-party services is subject to the applicable terms and conditions of those providers.
You agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform; (b) use the Platform to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content; (c) attempt to circumvent security or authentication mechanisms; (d) use the Platform to submit false or misleading information; (e) interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform; or (f) use the Platform in violation of applicable laws.
The Platform, including its design, content, software, and branding, is the property of Nettulztech Corp. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform without prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Afrinsure and Nettulztech Corp. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Afrinsure's role is limited to facilitating insurance distribution and does not extend to the provision of insurance itself. The applicable insurer is responsible for all insurance obligations.
Afrinsure reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law or regulatory authority. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. The parties shall attempt to resolve disputes amicably before resorting to formal proceedings. Disputes relating to insurance policies or claims shall be addressed to the applicable insurer in accordance with the policy terms.
Afrinsure may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or via email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
